The India Railway Government has initiated and set to appoint up to 30,000 Apprenticeship Trainees. This is a huge apprenticeship program which has the main motive to train the Railway Apprentice effectively.
Let me give you some basic information regarding Railway Apprentice if we talk about past few years’ data 2017-18 financial year, there are 26,000 training slots have already been notified for the apprentice’s post and instead of this, 4000 individuals are already in the training period.,
The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi has taken this great initiative to improve skill India initiative. And the railway department will join their hands to complete efforts by providing training to 30,000 apprentices in its 16 zonal units and 7 production units.
RAILWAYS TO TRAIN 30000 APPRENTICES
These Apprenticeship Trainees will be training gives to the candidates for various categories fitter, turner, machinist, welder, painter, carpenter, electrician, refrigerator and AC mechanic, mechanic (motor vehicle/diesel) and for other positions.
This Railway acknowledges the fact that skill development of the labour force is very important and Skill development is also necessary for the economic development of the country this is a part of a development of Human Resources.
Apprenticeship Training Program
At the workplace itself, the basic and practical job training will be given to the candidates for the better support. 20% to 30&% of the basic training to the candidates will count for the overall duration of apprenticeship training. And this training is also provided to the candidates, those who have not undergone any institutional training.
In Railway establishments, the Apprentices trained will be prefered for 12,000 of the 62,907 vacancies announced recently in Level 1 pay scale. The outstanding benefits will be given to the trained candidates.
