UPSC IAS Exam Eligibility Criteria:
In this section, we are providing the eligibility criteria of UPSC IAS exam. The eligibility criteria details like academic qualification, age and nationality.
Educational Qualification:
- The applicant should complete graduation degree or equivalent from a recognized college or university.
- To clear IAS exam six attempts are allowed for each candidate.
Age Limit:
- The minimum age limit to apply for UPSC IAS exam is 21 years and maximum age is 32 years.
- For reserved candidates age relaxation is given as per norms.
Nationality:
- The applicant must be citizen of India.
- The candidate can also be subject to Nepal or Bhutan.
- Candidate belonging to India and migrant from different countries are also allowed to apply for UPSC IAS exam.
UPSC IAS Exam Application Process:
- The candidate should apply for exam through online.
- Visit official website.
- Now, click on Apply for UPSC civil services.
- Application form will be opened.
- Enter all the details required in the application form.
- Pay fee online using your credit/debit card.
- After paying fee, enter the remaining details like exam center and other communication details.
- Now, upload scanned photograph and signature.
- Finally, click on I agree and submit the application form.
UPSC IAS Exam Fee:
- For general candidates the exam fee is Rs.100/-.
- For female/SC/ST/PWD candidates there is no application fee.

- The applied candidates can get their admit card through online.

- Now, click on Download IAS Prelims/Mains Admit Card.
- Enter the required log in credentials.
- The admit card will be displayed.
