What is SAT – Scholarstic Aptitude Test?

The Full Form of SAT is (Scholarstic Aptitude Test). SAT Exam is a recognized university admission test in the USA. SAT Entrance Exam used by most colleges and universities in US, Canada as well as other countries to select students for admissions to undergraduate courses. High SAT scores will increase your chances of securing admission. The exam is every year conducted by the College Board for seven times at different centres of examination all over India. Following are the SAT Conducting months such as October, November, December, January, March (or April), May, and June.

SAT is of two types they are SAT Reasoning Test (SAT I) or SAT Subjects Test (SAT II).

Eligibility for SAT Exam

The candidates should pass the Matriculation/ Class 10th from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any other equivalent Board of examinations are eligible to apply for SAT.

Note: The qualifying age of all the candidates should not exceed 21 years for all SAT test takers. Also, students must possess a valid passport/ ID proof respectively.

SAT 2019-20 Registration

  • There are 2 ways to register for SAT test 2019 – Online and by mail. Although, registering online is the quickest way to apply for SAT you have to register by mail if your age is below 13 years.
  • Students may select their preferred test centres and dates while registering on the College Board website.
