Job Description
JE Mechanical is one of the technical job profile in railways. JE mechanical is a supervisor post in mechanical department. JE mechanical will be working under an SE and can be posted either station or production units/workshops. In stations JE mechanical works as Train Examiner and works in shifts including night shifts. The duty of JE mechanical is to see that goods wagons and passenger coaches are in good condition and ready in time. JE mechanical also works in workshops to be in charge of periodic overhauling/production/components of loco/wagon/coaches.
JE Mechanical Eligibility Criteria
The candidate who want to apply for RRB JE mechanical post should hold a diploma in mechanical engineering from a recognized college or university.
JE Mechanical Selection Process
To become a JE mechanical the candidate should clear RRB exam. This is a 3 stage exam
