SSE Electrical Job Description
This is one of the technical job role in railways. The full form of SSE is senior section engineer. SSE electrical is a job role of supervisor in electrical department in railways. This is one of the best roles for electrical department students. SE can be posted either in station or production units. If SE is posted in a station he has to undertake works like electrical installations in stations like bulbs, fans, pumps and generators etc. The SE will be given a few small stations and they have to travel and do work in the stations. The SE will have a group of technicians under him to do the job.

The candidate should hold degree in electrical/electronics engineering from a recognized college or university.

The candidates are recruited as SSE Electrical after qualifying in 2 stage examination:

SSE Electrical Salary
- Pay Scale – Rs.9300/- to Rs.34,800/-
- Grade Pay – Rs.4200/-
- Initial Pay – Rs.12,540/-
- Total Pay = Pay Scale + Grade pay – Rs.17,140/-
