Selection Process for SBI PO Exam 2019

NOTE: Both Prelims and Mains exams are conducted in English/Hindi medium except in     specific Language Subject.
Penalty for Wrong Answer:
For both Prelims and Mains exam there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

2.SBI PO Mains Exam Pattern:
The SBI PO Main Exam has a total of 250 marks, consisting of an objective test of 200 marks followed by a descriptive test of 50 marks.

2. Descriptive test:
The Descriptive Test is for 50 marks with a time limit of 30 min will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay). The candidates are required to qualify in the Descriptive Test by securing passing marks, to be decided by the Bank.
3.SBI PO Interview:
The aggregate marks of qualified candidates in mains exam will be arranged in descending order in each category. The adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by the bank who are qualified in both Objective and descriptive tests are called for Group exercises and interviews.The bank will decide the qualifying marks in Group exercises and interviews.
Candidates under ‘OBC’ category would be required to submit OBC certificate containing the ‘Non Creamy layer’ clause, who are qualifying in Group exercises and interviews.Candidates are not selected if they don’t submit the OBC certificate containing the ‘Non Creamy layer’ clause and requesting to be interviewed under General category will not be entertained.
