Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct the IPS prelims examination and mains examination in all over the country. While filling the IPS 2019 application form the candidates have to choose the center where they want to appear for the examination. The center is allocated as per the first come first serve basis.
UPSC IPS Exam Centre 2019
UPSC announces the exam centres every year for the UPSC IPS Civil Services Examination. Candidates should carefully choose examination centre for exams during the registration process. Both Prelims and Mains have separate centres, but once you have locked a centre for the exam (whether it s for Prelims or Mains), it is not possible to change. Please note, that Commission reserves the right to change the Centres at their discretion if the situation demands. The candidates should note that no request for change of centre will be entertained, once allocated.

UPSC Civil Services Exam Centres 2019 – Important Instructions
- Candidates are required to report at the allotted UPSC IPS Exam centre on the exam day half an hour before the reporting time.
- No electronic equipment will be allowed inside the exam centres.
- Candidates must always carry any one original photo identity proof issued by State/Central Government.
- There will be no change in the exam centres alloted to the candidates.
Important Note
Mobile phones, bluetooth (or) any other communication devices are not allowed inside the premises where the examination is being conducted. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action including ban from future examinations. Applicants are advised in their own interest not to bring any of the banned items including mobile phones/bluetooth or any valuable/costly items to the venue of the examination, as arrangement for safe-keeping cannot be assured. Authorities will not be responsible for any loss in this regard.
